 Rider-Waite Tarot deck, perhaps the most well-known in the Western world. It is often called the first modern Tarot deck, as it was the cards drawn by Pamela Colman-Smith who was the first to use detailed pictures on the minor arcana cards.

The original plates for the Rider Waite were destroyed during the War. Colman - Smith however prepared two lots of line drawings; one with accompanying amber paste ups* and a second lot, virtually but not completely identical to act as black and white illustrations for the accompanying book by Waite, The pictorial key to the Tarot.
